Request approval of budget amendment - Social Services - $25,000 - to accept and appropriate funds for Disaster Adult Services - NC Division of Social Services - to provide essential services and supports for recovery efforts to vulnerable adults involved with the adult services system who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. Funding will be used for medical care, assistance with personal hygiene, food, clothing, rental and mortgage assistance, housing-related repairs, and utility expenses.
