Request approval to award bid and for the purchase of the following nine (9) County vehicles from the bidders stated below in the total amount of $255,923.82 to be paid from Fiscal Year 2022 budgeted funds: - Assistant County Manager Kris Boyd One Ford F-150 Extended Cab Truck to Ken Wilson Ford as lowest bidder in the amount of $28,979; One Ford F-150 Regular Cab Trucks to Taylor Motor Company as lowest bidder in the amount of $27,956; Two Ford Explorer SUV's to Ken Wilson Ford as lowest bidder in the amount of $27,758 each for a total of $55,516; Two Transit Connect Vans to Taylor Motor Company as lowest bidder in the amount of $25,187 each for a total of $50,374; One High Top Transport Van to Taylor Motor Company as lowest bidder in the amount of $31,827. and approval of Resolution authorizing the purchase of the below stated vehicles from the stated vendors per exception to competitive bidding requirements: One 4-dr Ford F-150 Truck from NC Sheriff’s Association (Parks Ford Hendersonville) group contract in the amount of $33,993.82; One Dodge Charger RWD from NC Sheriff’s Association (Ilderton Dodge) group contract in the amount of $27,278.
